The end of Week 5 already, where has this term gone. It won't be long until camp is here, which I'm very excited about. Who else is excited about camp?
I am taking great pleasure in watching your wiki pages develop. Congratulations to those who have completed all their wiki tasks. Also a big thankyou to those who have been reading & applying my feedback, cheers. There is some awesome work being displayed on your pages, well done. Who has been sharing their work with those at home?
Term 1, Week 3
What an amazing start to the year. It has been incredibly busy, especially with the new timetable structure for most to get their heads round. It is great to see so many students making the most of their time at school, by putting their best foot forward. These students are putting in the effort early to set themselves up for success at school, both this year and in the future. Well done to those students.
Yellow Hat - The highlight so far this year was seeing Arataki & Perosi so excited about their learning in measurement. Green Hat - The new idea for next week will be literacy groups. Red Hat - I loved the fact that we all finally had our PE gear for fitness this morning (Friday), so we got to play 'Octopus' for fitness. Black Hat - We could all be better at respecting the person who is speaking. White Hat - I am continually learning new pieces of information about all of my students. Blue Hat - I have done lots of thinking about thinking because I keep having to think of different activities for 'The Thinker's Keys' & 'The Thinking Hats'.
